On October 20, 2013, Artcurial auctioned 77 vehicles in Paris for a total of 4.4 million euros or CHF 5.4 million. On October 20, 2013, Artcurial auctioned 77 vehicles in Paris for a total of 4.4 million euros or CHF 5.4 million. On average, each vehicle sold for 66,325 euros or CHF 82,243. 14% of the vehicles could not be sold and some of the prices deviated substantially from the estimates. Around 35% of the buyers are said to have been from outside France. The most expensive vehicle at the auction was a Maserati 3500 GTI Vignale Spider from 1962. With a sales price (incl. surcharge/commission) of EUR 553,527, it not only clearly surpassed the estimated price of EUR 300,000 to 400,000, but probably also all previous auction results for the dream car, which was only built 242 times and was also presented in beautifully restored condition.
