The Ferrari 375 F1 from 1950 and 1951 was a very successful racing car. Ingeniere Lampredi's engine delivered 350 hp, and the chassis and shape were on a par with Alfa Romeo. In 1951, Scuderia Ferrari won three Grand Prix with it, the same number as Alfa Romeo. Nevertheless, Fangio became world champion in an Alfa Romeo.
